~ 2009 Football Skills Camp ~
“Football Skills Camp” teaching basic to advanced football skills to youth in grades 2 through 8 (no pads). Bainbridge Island Junior Football Association through Parks & Rec. $75 per Session.

Grades 2 – 4:
Session 1: M, W, F July 6, 8, 10 6:30 to 8:00 pm on M and W, 6:30 to 8:30 pm on F.
Session 2: M, W, F July 27, 29, 31 6:30 to 8:00 pm on M and W, 6:30 to 8:30 pm on F.
Grades 5 – 8:
Session 1: T, Th, F July 7, 9, 10 6:30 to 8:30 pm on M and W, 6:30 to 8:30 pm on F.
Session 2: T, Th, F July 28, 30, 31 6:30 to 8:30 pm on M and W, 6:30 to 8:30 pm on F.

2009 Spartan Youth Football Skills Clinic - June 29th and 30th. This clinic, which is run by Bainbridge Island High School's Varsity Football Coach, Andy Grimm, is a great place for players to improve their football skills. Coach Grimm will be joined both by members of the BIHS coaching staff and past and current BIHS football players in this camp where they will focus on Offensive and Defensive skills while at the same time building other positive life skills like teamwork and always giving your best effort. Lacrosse Camps through BI Parks Dept: Camps Availible for all ages, from Kindergarten Through the 9th Grade. Session from June - August. Schedules vary by age for details see www.biparks.org or Parks Brochure for details.

Registration Fees: Registration Fee is $195.00 per player. (After June 30, if space is available, the Late Registration Fee is $225.) Click here for refund policy.
BIJFA provides: Helmet, shoulder pads, game day uniform, pads, and 1 mouth guard. We have a limited supply of practice pants available on a first come, first served basis. Player is responsible for providing practice jersey & pants, socks, and cleats. Rib protector and support cup are optional. Game day jersey and pants may NOT be worn for practice.
Division Level Placement: Is based on the GEJFA Age/Weight Formula found on the GEJFA website.

Volunteering: Lots of opportunities!
Practice: Begins August 11th and will be held Monday through Friday (2 hours per day) until August 28th. After school starts, 2 hour practices will be held 3 days a week (schedule depending on team). All practices are held at Strawberry Hill Park.
Conditioning Camp (optional but recommended): Week of August 3rd. Exact days and times to be announced.
First Game: First Saturday in September. Games will continue every Saturday until the first or second week of November (schedule TBA).
